A new survey shows that Internet users leave more behind the code “123456”, but continue to use easy words as passwords.
The CBT Nuggets analyzed data from 50,000 emails and passwords leaked and discovered that the most frequently used words as passwords are: «love», «star», «rock», «miss», «hell», « Mike »,« John »,« girl »and« angel ».
“Men were slightly more prone to hacking, according to our information. And it is interesting that people aged 25-34 years were four times more likely to fall victim to hacking than any other age. The names that are more used as passwords «Michael» or «Mike,» «Chris» or «Christopher», «John» or «Jonathan», «Dave» and «David» and «Math» or «Matthew».
The study shows that 42% of people who violated their accounts using user names as passwords.
But what company still holds primacy with most chakarismenous accounts?
The CBT Nuggets says Yahoo’s accounts are much more likely to be exposed. Followed by Hotmail (now called Outlook) and Gmail. The Yahoo however, is first on the list with 47.95% more likely to crack your account.
